The best sushi in Fredericksburg! So fresh and pieces are huge! Seaweed salad is amazing as well!
We had a party of 16 today. The inside is decorated nice. The service to get drinks was a little slow. The chef was excellent. For the price though it is not a lot of food.
Food was great, service was highly entertaining. High recommendations. Price is comparable to other similar establishment. Give it a try.
Had an amazing experience here! Hibachi was delicious, restaurant was clean and busy. To top it off our cook Kim was the bomb.com! Super friendly, great attitude and was great with his grill tricks! We will def be back.
I've been coming to Fujiya House with my client, Legendary Drummer Bernard " Pretty" Purdie for three years. We enjoy the service, the food, and the talented Chef's. Mr. Purdie has been to Japan over 12 times and really enjoys the ambiance here. When he comes in from out of state, we always come here. Thank you to the ownership and staff for all you do to make his stop a great one. We'd recommend the restaurant to all who are looking for great service and awesome food. We are gearing up for Japan in June 2024 as Bernard & Friends will be performing in Japan for several dates. He is still playing drums and performing. Look him up over 4000+ records recorded and he has played with all the greats! We are proud to manage Mr. Purdie and proud of our cool hang out spot Fujiya House! Came here for the first time for my mom's birthday. She loves Japanese steak houses where she can see the food being prepared in front of you. I had called 2 days before to reserve because I was thinking they get busy but that Sunday night, it was not busy at all. Traffic was crazy and I had called them to change the time, they were very polite. They knew it was a birthday celebration as well and they said they will something nice for the bday person. My family was seated right away, I was late so they waited for me before taking orders. We did have to wait a little more before someone came to take orders. I liked the atmosphere, staff was kind and answered our questions. The salad and the soup was great. My dad is vegan and they made sure to make his separately and how he wanted his food. The rest of us got chicken and streak, and we all liked it. He brought out shrimp and started cooking it and we were confused cuz we don't eat shrimp and never ordered it. He apologize that it was a mistake. It was very entertaining and we enjoyed being there. They sang happy birthday and gave her cheese cake. I recommend.
We visited this place on a Friday night on a whim really and honestly had a great time. We had the fresh prince roll and Barbie rolls from the sushi bar both spicy both delicious and steak, chicken and tofu hibachi. The tofu was super salty but other than that our experience was wonderful. Ali was our chef and he was truly amazing just very personable and funny. We talked to him for maybe 15-20 extra minutes about sports and current events. Just honestly a great guy. Couldn't recommend this place enough. I apologize for slacking on the pictures but trust me the food was purely delicious!
This place shocked me!!!! Being welcomed with kindness and amazing food the staff here go over the top to take care of us I would recommend stopping buy and having a good time
